Making Dreams Come True

On a personal note, I have had the most rejuvenating couple of weeks. I let so much shit go and am making room for new and exciting opportunities. The energies in my life have seriously shifted and it feels so damn good. As I mentioned in my last post, things have been holding me back and I was done with it. No more excuses. No more waiting around. No more holding back. I have been making tweaks here and there, beyond creating a bedroom oasis, and they have full on unleashed my inner badassery. What you surround yourself with very much plays a role in your energy and, right now, I’m seeing just how that plays out.

As a follow up to a few weeks ago, I have FINALLY put up the beginnings of a gallery wall. However, I decided to use a floating shelf to lay the frames against, instead of hanging the prints directly on the wall. This way, I can add some variety and maximize the space—think small plants, little trinkets etc. Some of you may have seen a sneak peak on my Instagram page (pictured below), but am going to continue on framing places and things that make me feel alive and grounded.

Captured in the frame is the sunrise at the top of Mount Batur in Bali. I hiked up the volcano at 3 in the morning in order to witness the most colorful and majestic sunrise I have ever experienced. It’s been one of the top 10 moments of my life and definitely deserving to be put on the wall.

I also added some artwork and organization to my bedside tables. I love these prints, they are so sensual and bring a little fire to the room (even if they are not red).

As you can see, it’s a work in progress but definitely working. I am so proud of my progress and dedication to resolving the emptiness of my bedroom. Here’s to continuing to make dreams come true 🙂
